Partswash secure another spray wash system contract with printing firm Skanem

Partswash has today announced that it has secured yet another contract for its spray wash equipment with the printing firm Skanem.

Parts Wash have long since been supplying Skanem Durham with both Hercules Spray Wash Systems, and a Trojan Anilox Print Roller cleaning unit, and now Skanem Cardiff have followed suit and also taken out a contract.

The aqueous based spray wash systems are used by the printing firm primarily for cleaning anilox rollers. The rollers are instrumental in the printing process and need to remain clean to prevent ink cross contamination, which could ultimately compromise graphic quality.

The spray wash machines, uses a combination of water and a specially formulated ink removal detergent, pumped through the spray bars and jets onto the ink rollers. The jets are positioned over the rollers ensuring all areas are covered, and a consistently safe and deep clean is achieved.

Parts Wash also completes a monthly effluent disposal service for Skanem Durham, where all waste effluent is removed and the machines are given a thorough clean down.
